IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY OF CONTROL AND MONITORING IN THE SPHERE OF LABOR PROTECTION

Abstract

The article highlights the most important functions and role of trade unions in the implementation control and monitoring at enterprises to ensure the safety of workers. Trade unions are one of the main social partners protecting the employees’ interests. The participation of trade union representatives  in the implementation of measures to ensure safe working conditions has contributed  to a reduction in the number of accidents and the injury rates at work. The  active involvement of trade unions at the republican, sectoral levels, as well as at individual enterprises is a manifestation of the institution of tripartism.
